Robert "Bob" Lilledahl, 53, of Cedar Rapids, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at his home. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Bob was born in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 22, 1962, to Richard and Carol (Strong) Lilledahl. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1981 and the University of Iowa in 1986. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with family and friends. Bob worked at Mulligan's Pub and was a fan of sports, especially the Indianapolis Colts. He enjoyed having fun with friends and family, especially his treasured nephews.
He is survived by his parents; brother, Richard "Dick" Lilledahl; sisters, JoAnne (Matt Novak) Lilledahl and Jeanne (Jeff) Starkey; nephews, Elliott, Evan and Nolan Starkey, Lucas Lilledahl and Austin Henderson; and many close friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Lilledahl, Thor and Mayme Lilledahl and Walter and Pearl Strong; aunts and uncles, John and Phyllis Lilledahl and Walt and Anita Strong; cousin, John Lilledahl; and an infant sister.
