Msg. Robert “Bob” Lee Rimrodt passed away at 4:10 a.m. Dec. 30 in Cedar Rapids after a short illness.
He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Mark and Monica Kueny and Jimmy and Cynthia Rimrodt-Houston of Virginia.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961 before spending over 20 years in the U.S. Army.
He is also survived by three sisters and a brother, Shirleng Robinson, Rev. Rosalie Rimrodt and Bonita Rimrodt-McGregor, and Sfc. Ernest W. Rimrodt, U.S. Army (ret.).
A wake is planned for January. Time and place to be determined.
