Robert “Bob” Lee Reinburg, 78, of Amana, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Colonial Manor in Amana. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025, at Silver Creek Church, located at 2896 110th Avenue in Masonville, Iowa, with a one-hour visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Inurnment with full military honors will follow at Silver Creek Cemetery. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Marion is assisting the family.
Bob was born on September 7, 1946, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Dale and Gerry (Beaman) Reinburg. He was a graduate of Coggon High School and went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served a year each, in Germany and Vietnam. Bob had a long career working for Wilson/Farmstead Foods, until the business closed, then worked for Amana Refrigeration, until his retirement in 2009. He was a previous member of the Coggon American Legion. Ever a lifelong fisherman, Bob enjoyed making memories with the National Fishing Lure Collector Club. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bob is survived by his siblings, William “Bill” (Pam) Reinburg of Richview, Illinois, and Sheryl (Gene) Betenbender of Coggon, Iowa; nieces and nephews, Will, Gina, Chad, and Amy; and close friends, Greg Goddard and Mitchell Leonard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Denise Reinburg; and nephew, Mark Betenbender.
