Robert "Bob" Hora, 88, of Morley, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, with his family by his side.

Robert Ivan Hora was born in Morley on Nov. 21, 1934, the son of Joe and Alice (Tenley) Hora. He graduated from Morley High School in May of 1952. On Oct. 17, 1954, he married Betty L. Hults at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, rural Monticello.
Bob worked as a carpenter, serving the Jones County area his whole life.
Those remembering him are his wife of 68 years, Betty; his children, Marsha (Leo) Hlas of Elberon and Dennis (Beth) Hora of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Chris (Nancy Smith) Boots, Ben (Donette) Boots, Wayne (Steph) Hora and Josh (Jessica) Hora; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Darrell Hora of Marion; and a sister, Diane (Roger) Onken of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Robert Peterson; a sister-in-law, Nancy Hults; and a nephew, Ryan Onken.
