ROBERT "BOB" HENRY PETERS

Robert "Bob" Henry Peters passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2018, at the Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport at the age of 85.
He is survived by his three children, Tim (Marlys) Peters of Shellsburg, Tammy (Tim Shivers) Sinn of Sachse, Texas, and Tom (Cathy) Peters of Conroy; four grandchildren, Codee (James) Bunting, Casey Peters, Luke Peters and Emma Peters; a sister, Leona Gustafson of Wausa, Neb.; and a special friend, Edna Sandberg of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Karen; two brothers, Russell and Denton Peters; and two sisters, Lorraine Wiertsema and Linda Peters.
A Celebration of Life service will be 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg, where there will be a VFW service at 7 p.m. Memorials are for the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
