Rob Douglas Dort, 43, of Lakeland, Minn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died April 8, 2014. Services will be April 14 at Good Shepherd Church, Inver Grove Heights, Minn. He was born July 24, 1970, in New Hampton, Iowa.
Surviving are his wife, Jill; daughter, Alissa; son, Curt Wade; granddaughter, Jozie; sister, Linda (Barry) Benner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; stepmother, Alta; mother, Patricia Emo; and half brother, Matthew Mote.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Judith; and a stepsister, Janie Crawford.
