Ritscher, Joyce Ann
Joyce Ann Ritscher, 68, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Keystone, died of cancer on Jan. 18, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Chicago. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, at St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone, with Pastor Richard Osslund officiating. Committal services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery near Keystone. The family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home in Keystone.
Joyce was born Sept. 20, 1943, in Vinton to Delbert and Lucille (Holst) Junge, and graduated from the Keystone High School in 1961. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Keystone and she sold real estate.
She is survived by her son, Wayne (Kelsey) Ritscher of Keystone; her daughter, Marie (Rob) Mills of Chicago; her mother, Lucille Junge of Keystone; her grandchildren, Lacey Ritscher, Ellie Ritscher, Annabelle Mills and Charlie Mills; her sisters, Gloria (Dale) Kenner of Ankeny and Beverly (Bill) Bell of Fayetteville, Ark.; her brothers, Gary Junge and fiancee Wendy Toman of Toddville, Doug (Jeanne) Junge of Swisher and Dick (Mary Slorpil) Junge of Cheboygan, Mich.; her aunt, Frances Eichmeyer of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; and her son, Alan Ritscher.
A memorial fund has been established.
