Ritchart, Janet Lee
Janet Lee Ritchart, 52, passed away June 30, 2011, due to injuries that occurred in a traffic accident.
Born June 10, 1959, in Marion, Iowa, Janet was the beloved daughter of Harold and Mary Cramer. She graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1977. She resided in Cedar Rapids and was a longtime employee of J.C. Penney.
Janet is survived by her parents, Harold and Mary Cramer (Marion); her three children, Amber Ritchart, Andrew Ritchart and Corey Ritchart (all of Cedar Rapids); her grandson, Carter Ritchart (Cedar Rapids); her ex-husband, Mike Ritchart (Cedar Rapids); her sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Steve Bordeau (League City, Texas); her nephew, Adam Cramer (League City); and her significant other, John Connor (Cedar Rapids).
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Ruth Cramer (Cedar Rapids); and Lee and Elma Harris (Glenwood, Mo.).
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a visitation with the family beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, followed by a memorial service beginning at 11 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories, with Pastor Mike Morgan officiating. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Words cannot express how much Janet will be missed by all those who knew and loved her dearly. She loved nature, and Palo Park was one of her favorite places to be. Janet was a happy-go-lucky mom, daughter, sister and friend.
