Rita Schulte Hunter, 91 of Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away peacefully Monday, March 29, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William Hunter, in 2020; and eight brothers and sisters.
Rita is survived by her children, Denise (Ted) VanderLinde, Michele (Gary) Hooper, Jeffrey (Janice) Hunter; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Rita was a homemaker and had a love of travel and she and her husband traveled the world together.
Rita will be laid to rest at Graceland Memorial Park Mausoleum. Due to current restrictions, private family services will be held. Donations in Rita's memory may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice, 750 Fuller Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
