Hills
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita M. Jenn, 92, of Hills, will be held Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with Father Michael Spiekermeier and Father Bill Roush officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in rural Hills. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018, at St. Mary's Church in Riverside, with a rosary to be recited at 4 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established for Atrium Village and Iowa City Hospice.
Rita Jenn died Tuesday, Dec. 11, at Atrium Village in Hills.
Survivors include nine children and spouses: Joanne Murdock (John Greenwood) of Riverside, Eileen Falls of Hills, Anita Norman (Ben) of Fort Collins, Colo., Joyce Roper (Ralph) of Bald Knob, Ark., Donna Arthur (Randy) of Ainsworth, Linda Beeler (Allen) of Iowa City, Tom Jenn (Diane Cerven-Jenn) of Iowa City, Steve Jenn (Chris) of Hills and Mary Kay Hora (Tom) of Riverside; two sons-in-law, Bill Fortune of Denver, Colo., and Jerry Murphy of Washington, Iowa. Also surviving are 32 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Janelle Marek of Kalona, Mary Marek of Hills, Leo (Shirley) Ruth of Solon, Gene (Doris) Ruth of Riverside; and sister-in-law, Dorris Ruth of Burlington.
