Ristau, Helen Joan Ferrier
Helen Joan Ferrier Ristau, 89, of Mason City, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 419 North Delaware Ave., Mason City, with the Rev. Mark Lavrenz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Mason City, and also one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be at Elmwood - St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Helen is survived by her daughters, Sharon Novak and Debra Hagen and husband Pat of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church to purchase pew cushions for the Chapel of the Holy Child.
