Rinderknecht, Pauline W.
Pauline W. Rinderknecht, 102, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 18, 2013. She was a resident at Higley Mansion in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 24, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2202 Forest Dr. SE, Cedar Rapids, with Pastor Michael Erickson officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Stephens Cemetery, near Atkins. Visitation also will be held at the church from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
Pauline was born in rural Atkins on Jan. 30, 1911, to William H. and Wilhelmina (Haerther) Rinderknecht. She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
She owned and operated a beauty shop on Park Court. Pauline was a loving and caring person who not only took care of her brother and sister in their last years, but also helped anyone in need. Her strong faith came through in all of her actions.
Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is in charge of arrangements and condolences may be left at .
