Richter, Martin D.
Martin D. Richter, 58, the adopted son of Wayne and Melvina (McCoy) Richter, went to be with the Lord Dec. 20, 2011, at Terrace Gardens in Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was born April 29, 1953, and attended school in Vinton.
Martin is survived by his mother, Melvina of Marion; his daughters, Kelly, Sarah and Lisa; his son, Scott; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and his son, Robbie.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Grace Baptist Church in Marion, with Pastor Cecil R. Ballard officiating. Private committal services will be held at the Urbana Cemetery. Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton is assisting Martin's family.
