Richardson, Lois R.
WASHINGTON - Lois R. Richardson, 85, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at Halcyon House in Washington following several months of declining health. Celebration of Life services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with Father Troy Richmond officiating. Visitation will begin at noon today at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., with prayer services held at 6 p.m. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Lois is survived by her children, including two sons, J. Brian Richardson and wife Felicia of Cedar Rapids and E. Douglas Richardson and wife Patricia of Eagle River, Alaska; and two daughters, Wendy L. Heck of Washington, Iowa and Beth Anne Williams and husband Rodger of Henderson, Nev. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County, Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund or St. James School.
