Richardson, Alice G.

Alice G. Richardson, 93, of Northbrook Manor, died, with her family by her side, on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, after a brief illness. Private family services will be Monday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Bisig of Coggon and Loren (Kathy) Sands of Troy Mills; two daughters, Linda Brunscheen of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Lucretia Santee of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.

Alice was born March 19, 1919, in Chelsea, the daughter of Alva and Martha McKusker McGuire. She worked at Wilson and Co. for over 14 years and then retired to the farm.

She was a member of Echo Hill Presbyterian Church, Local P-3 Wilson Retirees and the VFW Auxiliary.

Alice enjoyed, playing cards, crocheting, bingo and especially the time spent with her beloved family and friends.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the charity of the donor's choice in Alice's name.
