Richard "Rick" Triska, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, of liver cancer. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 10, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Graveside service: 9 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at St. John's Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his sister, Linda Miller of Marion; nieces, Rainey Miller (James Osvald) of Cedar Rapids and Cara Payne of Marion; and great-nephew, Colton Payne.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents.
Rick was born Jan. 1, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Louis and Mildred "Millie" (Hinton) Triska. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1973 and later attended Kirkwood. Rick worked in factories all his life, working at Barnard Lee, DW Machining, Goss Graphics and most recently at PMX. He loved his Harleys, old power wagons and animals, especially his cats.
