Richard E. Smith, 85, of Fayette, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014, at Gundersen Lutheran Health Center in La Crosse, Wis. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the United Methodist Church in Fayette with the Rev. Mee Kang officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Fayette and for one hour preceding services Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Fayette County Historical Society.
