Richard "Rich" W. Newkirk, 35, loving husband of Stephany and father of Tristan, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, at UIHC surrounded by his family of complications from COVID-19.
Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, 605 Kirkwood Ave., Iowa City. The family will have a private Service of Remembrance with Pastor Dr. James Coyle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to an educational fund for Tristan, son of Rich and Stephany, c/o Veridian Credit Union.
The family would appreciate guests wear a mask.
