Richard Devere Prosser Jr., 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, at his residence.
Richard was born Aug. 1, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, to Richard D. Prosser Sr. and Lois H. Ronnenberg. He served honorably in the United States Army.
Richard enjoyed fishing and NASCAR racing and watching his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
He is survived by his daughter, Angie (Shane) Hanson of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Donald (Sue) Prosser of Fredericksburg, Daniel Prosser of Berwick, David (Marcia) Prosser of Cedar Rapids, Denise (Clyde) Bryan of Venango, Neb., William Harman of Mount Pleasant, Tina Chaplin of Indianola and Lois (John) Emde of Downers Grove, Ill.; as
well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Prosser and Lois Harman; and stepfather, William Harman.
A private memorial service will be held.
