RICHARD N. "DICK" TURNIPSEED

Richard N. "Dick" Turnipseed, 96 and a lifetime resident of this area, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at Highland Ridge in Williamsburg. Dick is survived by his wife, Lorraine Turnipseed of Coralville; son, Alan and daughter-in-law, Sandra Turnipseed of The Woodlands, Texas; granddaughter, Nicole Turnipseed of Columbia, S.C.; and granddaughter, Danielle Turnipseed of Nashville, Tenn.
Private family services will be held through Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City. Burial with military honors will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dick's memory to Zion Lutheran Church of Iowa City.
