Richard Harvey, 82, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Family and friends will gather from noon to 1 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Dick was born on Oct.r 27, 1939. He worked for National Oats for 34 years. Dick enjoyed going to Kernels games, fishing, car racing, Iowa Hawkeyes sports, gardening, bike riding, and spending time with his beloved dog, Missy, who passed away.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; children, Lori Harvey and Michael (Vickie) Harvey; siblings, Dennis (Cindy) Dye, Patsy (Dallas) Dye, Roy (Rebecca) Brady, Sandy (Roger) Erhardt and Gary (Norma) Harvey; sister-in-law, Judy Harvey; and lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Brady; father, Henry (Nellie) Harvey; daughter, Lisa Harvey; and siblings, Robert (Sheryl) Brady, Melvin Brady and John Harvey.
