Richard Griffin Falck, 52, of Oelwein, Iowa, formerly of Stanley, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle with illness.
Survivors include his brother, Steve Falck of Des Moines; his sister, Jodi (Brian) Muller of Manchester; brother-in-law, Dan Freeman of Independence; nieces and nephews, Morgan (Colin) Thorson, Zach (Breanna Recker) Muller, Kaylee Muller, and Jacob Freeman; great-nephews, Clay and Beau Thorson, with one on the way; several aunts and an uncle; many cousins; a special friend and caregiver, Lila Rohrick; and his special feline companion, Smokey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Richard Griffin Falck Family Foundation.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Oelwein, Iowa, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein, Iowa. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.
Interment: Union Cemetery, rural Aurora, Iowa.
