Richard "Dick" Anderson, 92, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015, at Crestview Care and Rehab Center in West Branch. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28, at West Branch United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Thurs-day from 4 to 7 p.m. at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Branch. Burial will be in West Branch Cemetery.

Dick was born July 27, 1923, in Iowa City, the son of Harley and Lillian Speight Anderson. He was a graduate of West Branch High School in the class of 1941. On June 25, 1944, Dick was united in marriage to Marie Wolf at the United Methodist Church in West Branch. He was a lifelong farmer and an active member of the community.
Survivors include his wife, Marie of West Branch; sons, Rick (Carole) Anderson of Cedar Rapids, Barry (Carolyn) Anderson of West Branch and Dean (Elaine) Anderson of Tipton; daughter, Julie (David) Sinclair of Lee's Summit, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Heath, Blake, Kalle, Duston, Kirk, Clinton, Katrina, Seth and Benton; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn (Maynard) Suchomel of Loveland, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Dorothy and Hubert.
