Reth, Lloyd J.
Lloyd J. Reth, 88, of Delhi, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood following a brief illness. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at United Methodist Church in Delhi, with the Rev. Lorraine Hartman officiating. Interment: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester and one hour before services at the church on Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, Irma; one son, Lloyd Reth Jr. (Butch) and his wife, Charlotte “Lotti”, of Strawberry Point; three grandchildren, Shawn (Jenifer) Reth of Delhi, Daniela (special friend Mike Fangman) of Quasqueton and Stacy (Steve) Wiggins of Burns, Tenn.; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Viola Reth of Delhi, Verna (Archie) Euwer of Palmer, Alaska, and Irene (Dean) Curtis of Decatur, Ill.; two brothers, Earl Reth of Marion and Melvin Reth of Oskaloosa; two brothers-in-law, Laverne (Theresa) Tinkey of Lamont and James Tinkey of Edgewood; and several nieces and nephews.
