Reta Kembel
RETA KEMBEL Clarence Reta Lavon Kembel, 80, of Clarence, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015, peacefully with family members at her side. Services will be at a later date. She was born Dec. 5, 1934, in Shellsburg, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Neva (Montgomery) Haase. Reta spent her working years as a nurse's aide at Americana Health Care Center in Cedar Rapids. She then retired in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Kembel of Clarence; son, John (Cheryl) Kembel of Davenport; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a brother, Joe Haase of Cedar Rapids.
