Repp, Iris Gertrude
Iris Gertrude Repp, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2010 at the Woodlands of The Meth-Wick Community. There will be no services. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
She is survived by her three sons, Dale Repp of Lone Tree, Douglas of Snoqualmie, Wash., and David Repp of San Francisco, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Kylie and Berkley Repp. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dale.
Iris was born on Oct. 21, 1922, in McMinnville, Tenn., to Erford and Emma McGregor. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She attended Ohio State University where she met and married Dale E. Repp. She lived in Cedar Rapids since 1952 and was active in many volunteer groups and was a founding member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church.
