Renee Elyse Smith-Potter-Robb passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday Oct. 14 2022, at 9:02 p.m., following a brief Illness. Renee was born April 14, 1945, in Peoria, Ill.
Renee is survived by her husband, Kim Robb of Las Vegas, Nev.; her son, Gerald R. Dye of Illinois; and her daughters, Rebecah Ellen Kincaid of Nevada, Kimberly Faith Wilson of Iowa and Tierney Lace Robb
of Nevada. Renee has 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Zoretta Hernandez of Nevada, Deana Soukup of Florida and Theresa Lindquester of Wisconsin; brother, Douglas Smith of Wisconsin, Carolyn Smith of Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Martha Smith; also her very best friend (sister), Annette Poulsen of Florida.
Renee was preceded in death by her father, Ronald R. Smith (Mae); her mother, Bess (Becky and Bob Bauer) Surber; her brother, Ronald D. Smith; her beloved daughter, Rhonda Renee; brothers-in-law, Jesse Hernandez II and Robert Soukup; and nephews, Jesse Hernandez III and Hunter Van Bougart.
A visitation will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, 4300 Trailridge Rd. SE, Cedar Rapids, on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10 until service time at 11 a.m., with Bishop Ostler officiating. Interment to follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Garden of
