Reilly, Bruce M.
Bruce M. Reilly, 70, of Lone Tree, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Mercy, Iowa City. Funeral services for Bruce will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. Pastor Susan Barnes will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery. Following the committal services at the cemetery, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice in memory of Bruce.

Bruce Mayo Reilly was born on Feb. 19, 1941, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Alice D. (Wiese) Kasper. He was a 1959 graduate of the Lone Tree High School. On June 15, 1963, Bruce was united in marriage to Karen Rath in Riverside, Iowa. Bruce was a mechanic and machinist who owned and operated Reilly's Speed Service in Lone Tree. Bruce enjoyed racing, building race car engines and restoring older automobiles.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his brother, Arden Kasper and his wife, Becky of Lone Tree; stepfather, Paul Kasper of Kalona; three nephews; and one niece.
Bruce was preceded in death by his mother and wife, Karen.
