Evelyn L. Reiland
Evelyn L. Reiland, 90, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at Crestview Acres Care Center. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, by Pastor Ron Thatcher. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial: Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton.
Evelyn was born April 2, 1919, in Tipton. She was married to Stanley Becker for 28 years and to Robert Reiland for 17 years. Her greatest accomplishment was owning and operating Pines Rest Home for 14 years.
Evelyn is survived by two daughters, Jo Ellen Becker Cox, and husband, Jerry Cox, of Olive Branch, Miss., and Donna Rae Becker Carpenter, and husband, John Carpenter, Jr., of Hastings, Mich.; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; half-brother, John Benson; and half-sister, Ramona Benson Smith.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Werling Benson; and her husband, Stanley Becker.
