Reed, Lola M.
Lola M. Reed, 93, of Washington, Iowa, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington, following an extended illness. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at St. James Catholic Church with Father Troy Richmond officiating. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Prayer services will be held 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.
Memorials have been established to Hospice of Washington County and St. James Parish.

She is survived by six children, son, Roger Reed and wife Connie of Washington, son, David Reed of Washington, daughter, Rosemary Reed of Des Moines, daughter, Bernice Marie Darby and husband Charles of Ainsworth, daughter, Melinda Lord and husband Bill of Washington, and son, Nicholas J. Reed and wife Sue of Washington; seven grandchildren, Drew, Wesley, Alex and Wyatt Darby, Jillana Kinsinger and husband Brad, Megan Butler and husband Daniel and Curtis Reed; and one great-grandson, Shay Riley Kinsinger.
