Redenbaugh, Joellen M.
Joellen M. Redenbaugh, 71, of Brandon, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, in her home. Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Family will greet friends from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cascade.
Survivors include five 1hildren, Donald (Sandy) Redenbaugh of Ryan, Julie (Eugene) McIntosh of Marion, Allen (Lorrie) Redenbaugh of Cedar Rapids, Theresa (Frank) Tucker of Brandon, and Robert (Teresa) Redenbaugh of Farley; 26 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings, Edna (Keith) Clark and Raymond Davis, both of Dubuque; and father-in-law, Kenneth Sheppard Sr. of Silvis, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Donald.
Joellen was born Jan. 21, 1940, in Cascade, Iowa, the daughter of Bernard and Alberta (Neyens) Davis. In 1960, Joellen was united in marriage to Donald Redenbaugh at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dubuque. She retired as an activity assistant at the Abbe Center. Joellen was a member of the AFSCME Union, and former president and vice president of the retirees. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be greatly missed.
