Rebecca Lynne Bradshaw, 64, of Palo, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2022, at her home following a long illness. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 17, at Calvary Baptist Church by Pastor Jay Jentink. Friends may visit with the family on Monday after 10 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church. Teahen Funeral Home and Cremation is serving the family.
Rebecca is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jeff; daughter, Alicia (Scott) Crawford and their son, Andrew of Reno, Nev.; son, Cy Bradshaw of Palo; mother, Mabel Kyes of Cedar Rapids; brother, Galen Kyes of Cedar Rapids; and sister, Stephanie Kyes of Bremerton, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Kyes.
Rebecca was born on June 20, 1958, in Mohall, N.D., the daughter of Benjamin and Mabel Peterson Kyes. She and graduated from Divide County High School, Crosby, N.D., in 1976. Rebecca received a B.S. in speech pathology from North Dakota State University, and a degree in nursing from Kirkwood Community College. Rebecca worked as a nurse at Mercy Medical Center for many years. Before her career in nursing, she worked at Warren Elementary School, Warren, Minn. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Rebecca enjoyed working with crafts and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be deeply missed.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy or to the Calvary Baptist Church.
