I go back to that day and remember it perfectly clear. Tears were shed and our hearts were aching. I can hardly believe it's been 11 years.
I am grateful for the time we had with you, even if it was cut short. I will never understand why, but will hold the memories tight and close to my heart. We miss you more than words can ever describe.
You taught me to always tell the truth. It's easier to remember, and when you deny the past you will repeat it. I think of those daily.
