RAYMOND "ANDY" GLEN ANDERSON

Raymond "Andy" Glen Anderson of Hiawatha peacefully passed into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Oct. 7, 2021.
Andy was born March 5, 1932, in Fayette, Iowa, to Glenroy and Alberta Anderson. He married Lucille Brown Brewer on Nov. 15, 1954. Andy and Lucille were long-time members of Zion Lutheran Church, enjoying camping, fishing and living in Hiawatha. Andy had several jobs over his career, ending in retirement, March 1995, as a maintenance supervisor with Kilborn Photo Products. Andy's kindhearted and soft-spoken nature was known to many. Family and friends will remember Andy as a loving soul, avid fisherman, a gentle jokester, nature lover and thoughtful individual.
Andy will be missed by his friends and family, including his sister, Darlene Welsh, and her children, Linda Welsh, Brian Welsh, Darren Welsh and their families; his dear friend, Sandra Krepfle; his grandchildren, Tammy (Larry) Brewer Northup, Sara (Jason) Brewer Wolf, Scott (Barb) Harvey, Mark Harvey, Gina (Chris) Harvey Drazan and Jennifer (Terry) Harvey Huddle; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille; parents; stepchildren, Dixie (Dale) Harvey and Robert (Sandra) Brewer; brother-in-law, Norman Welsh; and grandchildren, Susan Mervin and Sanford "Sam" Brewer.
Services: at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church, 201 1st Ave, Hiawatha, Iowa, with visitation at 10 a.m.
