Raymond Paul Rios, 63, of Kalona, died Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Brosh Chapel in
Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, with
burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brosh Chapel.
Raymond was born April 28, 1950, in Iowa City, the son of Henry and Bennie (Vasquez) Rios Sr. He graduated from Iowa City Regina High School in 1968. He attended Indian Hills College in Ottumwa, and received a degree in Culinary Arts. Raymond most recently worked delivering propane in the Iowa City area, until being disabled in 1993. He married Karen Tesar Dec. 30, 1985, in Cedar Rapids.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Karen; his children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; eight brothers; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters-in-law.
