Ray E. Amber, 78, of Oelwein, Iowa, died peacefully Sunday morning, Nov. 21, 2021, to be with the love of his life, with his family by his side, at Oelwein MercyOne, Oelwein. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein. Inurnment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Iowa, at a later date.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
