Rathje, Kelly Sue
Kelly Sue Rathje, 50, went home to be with the Lord and those that she loved in life who went before her, on Friday, June 17, 2011. Services: Private. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Smith of Robins; her daughter, Georgia Rathje of Virginia; her parents, George and Mary Williams of Cedar Rapids; half brother, David (Sarah) Williams of Shellsburg; and half sister, Joyce McClaran of Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Rathje; and her grandparents.
Kelly was born on Sept. 5, 1960, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of George and Mary Williams. Kelly was passionate about helping people and recently finished her schooling to become a Certified Registered Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and animals. She loved traveling and helping people and will be greatly missed.
