Randy Weekly, 65, of Walker, Iowa, died Sunday, May 22, 2022, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 26, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Walker. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 27, at the church. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point, Iowa, is assisting the family.
Randy was born Dec. 15, 1956, to Harlan and Maxine (Wiltsey) Weekly. He lived his entire life in Walker and worked in the lumber business. Randy was united in marriage to Janet Burke on Oct. 16, 1976, at St. Patrick's Church in Monti, Iowa. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Randy enjoyed traveling with Janet, taking countryside drives and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Janet Weekly; sons, Matt (Katey Simon) and Dan (Laura) Weekly; grandchildren, Ezekial, Zoey and Lily; brothers, Marvin and Duane (Sharon) Weekly; sister, Debra (Roger) Henderson; brothers-in-law, Hank (Jane) Burke and Mick (Bev) Burke; sister-in-law, Annette (Jerry) Slattery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
