Randy L. Hansel, 70, of Peoria, Ill., died peacefully in his sleep at The Loft on March 26, 2024. He was Interior Design Manager at Bergner’s Department Store. He retired when the store closed. He was the son of Paul Richard and Marginell Hansel of Elkader, who along with younger sister Tracy Kemling preceded him in death. He is survived by an older sister, Diane Josephson, her husband Robert and son Andrew of Marshall, Wis. Randy lived his life through his heart. Funny to the end. He will be missed by many. Timothy Whiteside Funeral and Cremations is handling the arrangements.
