Randy Lee Kohrs, 61, of Las Vegas, formerly of Coralville, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Services: 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at 1062 Eisenhower Rd., Hiawatha.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Kohrs; children, Timothy and Amanda; brothers, Wayne and David; and sister, Carol Dinger.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie; father, Silas; brother, Charles; and niece, Sandra.
Randy was born in Waterloo, Iowa, on April 20, 1954. He graduated from East Waterloo High School in 1972. He married Nancy Fjelstul on Aug. 25, 1973, and had two children, Timothy and Amanda; and two granddaughters, Alayna and Kaitlyn.
Randy graduated from Kirkwood in 1994 as a registered respiratory therapist with honors. Randy was featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Cedar Rapids Gazette, The Advance Magazine for Respiratory Therapy and a book titled, "Prosperities," by David Wessels. In 2004, Randy and Nancy moved to Las Vegas. Randy worked at Spring Valley Hospital.
