Randy Everette Grimm passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City at age 65.
Randy was born Oct. 10, 1950, in Marengo, Iowa, the
son of Everette and Anne (Martin) Grimm. He graduated from Williamsburg High School and Kirkwood Community College. Randy was united in marriage to Kathy Holden on July 27, 1974, and to this union they were blessed with three children. They later divorced. Randy then was united in marriage to Debra Reinhart on Aug. 23, 1992, at Lake Iowa.
He was a lifelong resident of the Williamsburg community. Randy owned and operated R & D Construction. He enjoyed working on cars, snowmobiling, hunting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Debra of Williamsburg; three children, Chad (Angela) Grimm and Weston Grimm, both of Roosevelt, Utah, and Jessica Grimm of Phoenix; a stepson, Jason (Bri) Huedepohl of Plano, Texas; three grandchildren, Mishayla Kleinmeyer, Jayden Grimm and Jaxson Grimm; a stepgrandson, Ryon Huedepohl; and two sisters, Pamela Tedrow of Walford and Deborah (Randy) Provin of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ladeana Myer.
Celebration of Life memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a general memorial has been established.
