Randall Peter Bezanson, a legal scholar, a lover of red wine and a confessed chocoholic, died Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas, after a nearly 17 year face-off with cancer. Although his body passed in the Alamo state, his heart always remained in the great state of Iowa, where he was born (Nov. 17, 1946), raised and spent much of his life.
Friends, faculty and students are invited to join the family in celebration of Randy's life from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Levitt Center for University Advancement on the University of Iowa campus.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Randall Bezanson Memorial Fund at the University of Iowa Foundation, 1 W. Park Rd., Iowa City, IA 52242.
