Ranard, Jess M.
Jess M. Ranard, 51, of Gulf Port, Miss., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
Jess was born May 8, 1958, the son of Jess A. and Bettejoy Ranard. He attended Kennedy Senior High, then enjoyed a long career as an over-the-road driver.
Jess is survived by a son, Cory; and siblings, Tracy, Tony, Wade, Virginia, Mark, and Linda.
He was preceded in death by a son, Wade; and his parents.
Cremation and ash disbursement will take place in Gulf Port as Jess often stated “I've been blowing in the wind most of my life and that's how I wish to leave.”
