Ralph Donald Bitner Jr., 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at
the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom. Inurnment will follow service in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his stepchildren, Ann (Tom) Jubeck of Marion and Matt (Sarah) McGough of Caledonia, Mich.; his grandchildren, Monica (TJ) Dolezal of Marion, Thomas "Bud" (Ashley) Jubeck of Marion, Samantha (Rob) Eisenman of Stevensville, Mich., Patrick McGough of Stevensville and Elizabeth (Daniel) Davenport of Indianapolis, Ind.; and great-grandchildren, Carter Jubeck of Marion, Sylvie Dolezal of Marion and Elias and Lucas Eisenman of Stevensville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, MaryAnn Bitner.
Ralph was born April 27, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Jacklen (Davis) Bitner. He married Maryann (Bocken) McGough on April 6, 1980, in Davenport, Iowa. Ralph was director of marketing for Dennis Co. and a member of R.S.E.S. He was a hard worker. He enjoyed old cars, working in the yard and spending time with his wife, Maryann, and their family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
