Railsback, James C. 'Jimmy'
James C. "Jimmy" Railsback, 46, of 1516 Richmond Rd. NE, died suddenly Friday, Aug. 7, 2009. Graveside services and interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Garden of the Cross, Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Surviving to honor his memory are his wife, Rebecca "Becky"; daughter, Kylie, stepson, Brett Moore, stepdaughter, Amber Moore, and his father and stepmother, Jerald and Judy Railsback, all of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, John of Palo and Joe of Cedar Rapids; and three sisters, Rita Duby and Janet Timm, both of Cedar Rapids, and Kim Railsback of Sonnet, Mass.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Railsback; and grandparents, Cecil and Daisy Railsback.
Jimmy was born April 22, 1963, in Cedar Rapids. He was a truck driver for Liebe Trucking. He married Rebecca "Becky" Moore on Jan. 1, 1999, in Cedar Rapids.
Jimmy was a loving and caring husband and devoted father. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial fund has been established.
