Rae Jean Visnapuu, born Jan. 23, 1941 in Cedar Rapids and formerly of Springville, passed away September 14, 2024 in Des Moines from complications after a fall. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Mati Visnapuu; sons Abraham Garcia, Josh (April) Visnapuu, and Mike (Karen) Visnapuu, daughters Niki Moore and Bethany (Brady) Hopkapuu; and her grandkids Victoria, Emmalyn, Lorelia, Mason, and Maylene.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, and Kavanagh House Hospice for the amazing care they provided.
There will be an informal celebration of life at Parlor City, Cedar Rapids, Sunday, November 3 from 11am to 1pm.
