Pyle, Hope
Hope Pyle, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 11, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, at Cedar Valley Bible Church, 3636 Cottage Grove Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids, officiated by Tom Fogle. Arrangements by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark.
Survivors include her husband, Charles R. children, Charles R. Pyle Jr. and wife Virginia of Michigan Center, Mich., and Jo Ellyn Bach and husband Robert of Bentonville, Ark.; siblings, Belle Boyer of Jesup, Dan Magee of San Francisco, Calif., and Bess Wellner and Dawn Fisher of Davenport; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was born in Chalk Level, Mo., on June 5, 1923, to the late Paul and Mary (Underwood) Magee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed hosting at her church, Cedar Valley Bible in Cedar Rapids. She was a Christian woman and enjoyed taking care of others.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to the Hope and Charles Pyle Scholarship Fund at Cedar Valley Bible Church.
