Pusateri, Roszanna 'Rose' May

Roszanna “Rose” May Pusateri, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at St. Luke's Living Center East. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW, where there will be a 5 p.m. parish vigil.

Rose was born Dec. 23, 1935, in Des Moines, the daughter of Carl and Lueva (Kimbro) Fields. She married Francis Pusateri. Rose was a devoted foster care mother.

Rose enjoyed crafts, gardening, watching old movies, time spent with her family and friends.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Monica Burkhart and Maribelle Thompson; grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Thomas, Stasha Thompson, Anthony Bridgeman, Tiffany (Chad) Carter, Daniel Krotz, Walter Robidoux, Barbara Broyles, Mary Krotz, Randy Thompson, Tawnee Pusateri and Matthew Krotz; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Carl Fields; and her cat, Kitty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Pusateri; and two sons, Matthew and Dennis Pusateri.
