Prowell, Jane Olberg
Jane Olberg Prowell, 57, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, after a long illness. A memorial service will be held for Jane-O at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 310 Fifth St. SE, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Matt) Mitchell and Ellie and Ann Prowell; brothers, Peter (Gardner) Olberg and daughter Amanda; and sisters, Kissy (Charlie) Heins and children Jennifer and Char.
She was preceded in death by her parents, F. Forbes and Ann Olberg.
History
Jane-O will be remembered for her sense of humor, generosity, love of volunteering, animals and the company of others.
Memorials may be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids or Planned Parenthood of the Heartland in Jane-O's name.
Jane-O valued her family and friends above all, and her family would like to thank everyone for the enormous and important role that you played in her life.
