Probst, Sandra K. (Parsons)
Sandra K. (Parsons) Probst, 56, of West Liberty, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at her home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 6, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, with burial to follow at the Morse Cemetery. There will be visitation from 11 a.m. until services Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her memory.

Sandra Kay Parsons was born July 1, 1953, in Iowa City, the daughter of George and Delores (Bulechek) Parsons. She graduated from Solon High School with the class of 1971, and then attended University of Northern Iowa for a number of years. She was married to Hugh Robert Probst on Jan. 7, 1977. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling (especially to the ocean), watching classic movies, working outdoors on her home, and was an avid reader. Her faithful companion, Quincy (pug dog) was also always by her side. Sandra touched many with her unique sense of humor and her love of life.
She will be missed by those who had the privilege to know and love her.
Her family includes her daughter, Lilliana Probst and her fiance, Zach Walters, of Columbia, S.C.; parents, George and Delores Parsons of Iowa City; brother, Loren Parsons (Sheri) of Iowa City; sister, Darla Milks (Kent) of Quincy, Ill.; nieces and nephew, Melissa Parsons, Megan Parsons, Abby Milks and Joshua Milks; aunts and uncles, Doris Bulechek of Queen City, Mo., Anna Bulechek of Iowa City, Victor and Leona Mougin of Iowa City and Kathryn Sida of Solon; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, aunts and uncles.
